The biggest advantage of knit skirts is no wrinkles! I love circle or flared skirts, which always flatter my figure; however, the wrinkles are inevitable (for most of silk, linen or cotton skirts) after sit in the car or office for a while. This is the reason I bought several knit skirts / dresses this year. They never wrinkle and always fit my waist perfectly.

Compared to my Parker zoey skirt (recent wear here, and it had a second price cut in Bloomie and nordstrom - if you bought recently, you may get price adjustment with them), Rebecca Tylor knit skirt is longer (19'' vs. 17.5'') and has a flared rather than pleated look. RT skirt doesn't have a zipper on the back, and fit slightly large (half size).
