Spring white II: Zara padded sweater & Alexander McQueen skull cotton scarf

Let us continue black/white combination! In spring white I, I introduced two of my recent white additions to the closet: Yigal Azouel wool sweater and Theory stripped silk blouse. Both of them are pretty delicate, and requires dry clean. The Yigal Azouel wool sweater, as some of you already mentioned in the comments, is actually not very easy to pull on without the bulk (I will continue to experiment...). Here is a white top, which doesn't need extra care. I packed it in my duffle bag going to gym and changed into it later for a stroll in Sunday afternoon.
This sweater (81% of cotton and 19% polyester) is soft to touch while does not wrinkle crazily. It is very thick and feels like a sweater (not a T-shirt!). It only comes into two sizes (M and L), and is supposed to be loose fit. Compared to most of Zara clothing, this sweater is well made. I pair it with black jeans for now and will pair with shorts in the late spring.
Close with a picture taken in a DVF store, full of black and white elements! Left: DVF cupcake leather jacket, DVF bel leather pants; Right: DVF Kate studded leather jacket and a little black dress.
Thank you for your reading! I will continue to introduce my other white closet additions soon...
Good call. I am working on that now. Personally I don't like the Achieve widget provided by blogger, so I am wring my own achieve page. Recently I am super busy in my experiments, which slowed down the website construction. Will do by weekend, if I could figure it out~~~ Also plan to add a 'sweet home' column as a diary of the house building (also kept us busy while excited)... Thank you for reminding me~Delete
Nice white sweater shirt. Do you usually buy ZARA clothes in original price? I like zara's fast fashion, but always want to wait for sale, which is a little risk because some of itmes go very fast. What is your strategy?ReplyDelete
Whenever the cost per wear is reasonable, I may buy. Their clothes, especially those with good quality, go really fast. Zara also has a big second hand market! I had a silk skirt (bought in 2010 with a full price $59), and sold it at ebay last month at $35.Delete
The white sweater is a good pick.ReplyDelete
The sweater looks nicer to me without scarfReplyDelete
I like its details around the collar! Will do when it gets warm~ ThanksDelete
