For me, looking stylish in a frigid winter day - let us say below 20F & windy- is always secondary. Whenever I need to stay warm and dry as I commute by public transportation, I choose Canada Goose over Moncler. I also don't care too much to take a crazy crowded subway when I wear Canada Goose. Moncler coats are more stylish and light weighted, good for travel and not super cold days. If you need to battle single digits, I would suggest you go with Trillium (level 4); 20F, Kensington is more than enough.

Where to buy them?

The price increased significantly this season, and this brand is excluded for most promotions! You can buy during power points ($250 for every $1000 spending, but need to wait for 2 months to receive the reward points) in Bloomingdales, EGC time in Saks Fifth Avenue, or gift card events in Neiman Marcus. If you don't like gift cards, you can buy from Backcountry for tax-free with 5% discount (I chatted online and they honored me 5% - try to negotiate with them if other department stores have an ongoing gift card event).
