I tried the size of them in NYC (Barneys) during my last trip. The lower left (red) is a classic Balenciaga biker jacket (here). Size 36 fits me very well (about the same as Theory xs/pt), but the sleeves seem to be a little bit long. Not sure whether the long sleeves are one of the characters of biker jackets, lol? Another is made by Celine, and I also need size 36. Fingers crossed...
Besides these big name designers, Mackage biker jackets (here) also catch my eyes. Compared to Vince and Theory (which I owned several pcs), Mackage motorcycle jackets seem to have a better cut and fit!

ReplyDeleteFor the long sleeves, I think it is just the 'look' of Balenciaga. You do need long sleeves when riding a motorcycle. ：-）
