Happy Thursday! The closer to the closing date, the more we need engage to our new house - from landscaping to the porch, from lighting to cabinet hardwares. Our to do list and shopping list seem to be endless now. This is the excuse that I don't have prompt updates recently...

Eventually this Miss Wu lace print skirt (here) came to my door yesterday when I almost forgot it. Size 2 fits me like a glove. It is fully lined and has pockets! I will keep it for sure; however I would not suggest you buy it (and any silk pleated skirts) unless you have a flat belly. Soft fabric with pleats will make our waist and belly look one size up at least!

In contrast with silk skirt, thick fabric which holds up shape very well may deceive our eyes.

Even without high heels, this skirt make me look thinner than in a silk skirt (especially the waist). Size xs of this Anthropologie skirt (here) is slightly longer and bigger on me, that I folded the waist in half and belted it up. A petite version might fit better on me.

Thank you for your reading!

  1. Like the black silk blouse. How's the fit? Are you wearing size 0 or 2?

  2. Do you have to tie it every time you wear the silk blouse?

    1. Yes, it is a button down blouse. But it is not hard to tie it.
