Stepping into spring: restyling winter clothes (fur vest, leather pants and quilted jacket)

DVF fox fur vest ( feather fur $139.50 here; faux fur here under $100)
Club Monaco top
Theory ima pants (great style here, fits true to size)
Prada booties (old, comfy booties sale from $95 here)

One way to stay fashion-forward is wearing the clothes ahead of your time. For now, probably you may want to wear booties or pumps instead of boots, scoop neck tops instead of turtleneck, and add some light / bright elements into the outfit...

Rebecca Taylor quilted leather jacket

I wore this quilted leather jacket with a tunic sweater (here, and Amanda wore it here) and boots during the winter. Now, I like to wear it with short tops underneath and light colored bottoms to create a spring look.

Though it is March, you still can find snow piled everywhere. At the same time of staying in style, I also want to stay warm~ Despite the bulky look of the fur vest by itself, it can be easily layered underneath a fitted jacket. You can take off the jacket, showing off the cozy vest, in shopping malls, or walk outside under the sun.

You can also wear the vest on the top of the jacket, easily creating a warm and cozy look for the evening...

Dear readers, what are your strategies of wearing winter clothes in this transitional time?

Thank you for your reading!

  1. I like the pants and booties in these pictures, but not a fan of the top part.

    1. Though people tell me grey goes well with all colors, I only like it with black or ivory. Need experiment more~
