Shrimp broccoli
Broccoli is my favorite vegetable (no matter in soup or salad, steamed or stir fried) and shrimp is also my favorite seafood. They are a match made in heaven!
Ingredients:
broccoli florets 300g
black tiger shrimp 150g (cut lengthwise in half)
minced ginger 1 tsp
garlic 2 cloves minced
Steps:
1. Marinate shrimp with 1/2 tsp starch and 1 tsp oil
2. Put broccoli florets in a big bowl together with 2 cup water and 1/4 tsp salt, microwave 2 minutes (if you like tender broccoli, you can do 4 minutes). Wash with cold water then drain the water.
3. Add 2 tsp oil in preheated wok, then stir fry ginger, garlic till and broccoli on medium - high heat. Add 1 tsp sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt then stir fry for about 2 minutes (broccoli slightly turns tender).
4. Switch to high heat, and adds 1 tsp oil together with marinated shrimp. Stir fry till shrimp is fully cooked. Add the last 1/4 tsp salt and sprinkle dry white pepper powder.
