Marni wool coat
Eventually, I bought one for myself to satisfy my craving. Here I added a fur scarf for extra warmth during winter days. Sorry for the blur picture which may not show the details and beauty of this coat. The below picture is borrowed from YOOX.
Marni brought my attention a few years ago by their acrylic resin jewelry. Marni loves to experiment with different materials with bold colors, prints and shapes. In 2012, the label created a popular collection for H&M that - to no one's surprise - sold out within hours of appearing on the racks. Alexa and I were both attracted by this Marni wool coat from YOOX during their Valentine's day sale. The minimalist approach that endeared this coat to a clean and crisp look. When I received the package, I felt a little bit upset on the material. It is not soft or smooth to touch as I expected. However, maybe that is the way how structured and tailored coats are fitted and shaped to the body through outer details such as shape defining darts and curving seams.
For this dark color wool coat, you may want to brush it after every wear.I use Kent bristle cloth brush (here) to take care of my winter wool coats. It is super sturdy and used to removed any unwanted particles from clothing and blankets etc.
Thank you very much!
