Zara camouflage high-low sweater (review)

Hi all, happy Wednesday!  Since I missed the green version of Theory high-low sweater (red version worn here), I have been looking for a similar one. Last week, I took home a wool camouflage high-low sweater from Zara sale ($29.99 in store, item no. 0036794150003), where was too crowded to get a fitting room. Zara currently has lots of knitwears on sale online, but the quality could vary a lot.

This particular one is made with lambwool rather than merino wool, thick enough but slightly itchy~ It also runs small, and I wear size medium rather than my normal size xs. I will definitely wear a tee underneath if I decide to keep it. I love the camouflage print, which is unique in my closet. However, I am not sure about the length which doesn't seem to cover the rear. Any suggestions, ladies?

Share you two iphone pictures I took this morning, on my way to work. What could be worse than a snow fall coincident with rush hours? It was already 8:15 when I got to the lab, almost 2 hours on the road~ Fingers crossed that road condition will be good later today!

For all of you who live in the northeast, stay warm!

Thank you for your reading!

  2. Unofrtunatelly, There is no zara store near by, so I can not try it on.
Is the sweater well made? Does the quality look cheap?
For the size part, I think if it fits you well it will fit me, except it would be a little longer. I figure this out based on all the dresses I bought after you.
Also I just ordered the recebar Taylor quilted leather jacket in xs, It is final sale. Hope it fit well.
Have you ever tried Jcrew Majesty peacoat? It looks nice in their website. But I've never tried it on.
    Thanks

    1. To be honest, the quality is so so.
I was attracted by JCrew peacoats, but turned off when I tried them in store. First, colors are not good for my skin; second, the shoulders don't fit me very well. I bought one in navy years ago, but gave it to my mom later. JCrew coats normally don't last very long in my closet, so I stop wasting money on them :)

    2. By the way, there are couple choices of Vince color block cashmere sweaters on sale at SaksFifthAvenue online. They have high-low design too. Check out!

  3. it looks bit old on you, i ordered two zara red sweaters online during their sale, but both turned out to be big disappointment, they usually looks good on the model pics, but quality wise, it sometimes doesn't match its price competitors such as gap.
btw, my order with maria is not successful, i ordered last friday, but the 1$ pending charge disapeared from my card after two days and no confirmation email was sent, i called maria like hundreds of time, but she was either off work or can't find the reason, i will try my luck at NM with Michelle's email.Anyway, thank you both again for the help.has anyone here successfully got the vince fur vest with 538.5$,let me know if you can share your sales confirmation, many thanks in advance.Robin
