Tod's ankle boots SALE @ Saks Fifth Avenue & Add Down coat / vest

This pair of black ankle boots (same style here) are the treasure I found on the messy sale rack last week in Saks Fifth Avenue. They have 3.5 '' heels with 0.75 '' platform (comparable to 2.75 ''), and are well made as Tod's always does. This pair is true to size!

I took them home with $218.92 (near 70% off the original price $695, from Saks Fifth Avenue). The item number is 886138387349. They are basic while elegant! I will see them on my feet for several winters at least. If you are looking for a pair of walking ankle boots, you might want to try this pair. 

Bitter cold swept Boston this week and single-digit temperatures were seen in the morning! I wore my fur vest underneath a down coat or two-piece down vest/coat to keep myself warm! Add Down makes nice down jackets / coats, and always has deep sales ($100 to $200) at the end of the season.

A down vest and coat together did a great job in such a bone-chilling morning, without horrible bulk! And, I love wearing the vest alone head to toes!

Our realtors and we will check two houses and two land tomorrow morning. It seems to be seller market now, at least nearby Boston. Fingers crossed that we could find one as soon as possible.
