Cone-shape coat by Opening Ceremony & Over-the-knee boots

Happy Monday! I read a blog post of tips for wearing coats, and if you are a coat lover like me, you might want to read this article.

This A-line coat by Opening Ceremony was bought last season, the style of which is significantly different from my other Burberry coats. Though it seemed to be simple and easy-to-wear on the mannequin, it is the most troublesome piece in my closet. 1) It is A-line, but the hem is too wide for a petite girl like me (5'4); 2) It is not only A-line, but also cone-shaped. It makes me look 'stronger' from the side; 3) The combination of the colors and style of this coat seems to be too casual to wear any heels. So far, the best pairing I found for this coat is with Via Spiga over-the-knee boots. Taken together, petite girls might want to think carefully before buy a cone-shape coat!

Mentioning over-the-knee boots, I have to say Stuart Weitzman 5050 is a legend! It can magically conceal any imperfect of your legs. However, if you don't want to spend $595 on a pair of boots made with 30% synthetic and 70% leather, you may consider Via Spiga Georgia! Via Spiga Georgia has leather upper and lining. It is true to size, but may not fit girls with very skinny legs. Besides, if you have high arch, you may want to go up a half size, otherwise it may not be easy to pull it on.

Thank you for your reading, and have a great start of the week!
