Hello, NOLA

After a long day of airports and flights (no mention of scary turbulence nearby Houston), we are here in New Orleans! The weather is amazing, 80F and sunny! For people from the northeast, where it can be as cold as 30F in the mornings, is ti exciting? I could not wait to enjoy the weather after got settled down, even forgot changing clothes.

It is the first time SFN has been in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina. After a brief stop at the convention center (it was a pity that I missed the late afternoon keynote talk), we decided to stroll the city a little bit. Though seven years passed, constructions still can be seen everywhere in the city, as well as the signs of that tragedy.
