Black & White fun among colors in March

March is so beautiful, full of colors! Even black and white seem to be different in March from winter :)

I experimented matching a "busy" top with this polka dot skirt, which I normally wore with solid black tops. Also, it is the first time I wear MMM 22 shoes with a skirt (also see here, with pants). The ivory shoes match this zara skirt perfectly! Happily received many compliments for these shoes today! They are very comfy, and true to size (I won't suggest them to high arch or wide feet ). I sprayed water&stain protector on my shoes before I wore them out, and it worked! I got some coffee spill on my shoes today, but it was easily cleaned off!

  3. TO me, zara dot skirt combining with Anne Fontaine is not busy at all. The Jcrew dress ftis you well but the pattern seems a little complicated.

About jcrew dresses, I am always confused about their size. I bought a dress in petite 2 from Jcrew website, It's very tight in waist. I usually wear petite size 0 in AT and BR (or xs in regular size). I am about to buy couple of dresses from Jcrew website, but have not decided which size to go.
Do you think Jcrew's size is (significant) smaller then AT or BR's?

    Thanks

  4. JCrew doesn't have a consistent standard size! Their skirts run horribly large (even 00 is large at the waist for me), but their tops are pretty true to size (tried 00 yesterday, it was too snag!). So it is not easy to decide the size of JCrew dress. Size 0 fits good on shoulder and bust, but large on waist. I would not buy 00, which will restrain my arms. I also checked JCrew measurement, their regular 00 = P 0. So I need skirts in P00, and tops/dresses in regular 0 or P2 (never tried P2 anyway).
