Salvatore Ferragamo riding boots vs. Milly mini skirt

(photo was taken by my 5-yr boy, with iphone 4s)

It is 52F this morning, unseasonally warm! To take this advantage, I wore my mini Milly skirt out today! It is mini, but still passes my longest finger tip. In addition, I am wearing a pair of opaque tights underneath. It is okay for our dressing code here. I have to say that, pairing with sheer or semi-sheer tights gives a better look; however, I don't want to be weird in my relatively conservative working place.

You must see this Banana Republic drop-shoulder cardigan several times in my posts, and apparently it is one of my favorite pieces in my closet. The combination of the natural color and loose fit makes this cardigan go easily with pants, jeans and skirts! It proves, again, that bargain shopping can be great! It is my first time to pair this loose fit cardigan with a mini skirt, and it does balance the "sexy" element delivered from my mini Milly.

I put my hair up again today. I love to show my long hair, but it is so annoying in winter time. I fought with static electricity generated by my hair all day yesterday!

  1. Hi dear,
Don't forget to give our little Nathan some treats for being your 'professional photographer'. He did a good job today by catching your whole body in the frame! :-P

  2. You are absolutly right that the BR has better price offer in store than online. I swinged by their store last weekend, and got the drop shoulder sweater you recommeneded and two pairs of flats! Thanks for your recommendation! :-)

  4. Not really, I "lost" my hair in the last picture. He is indeed great! I wish he could handle my new Nikon camera, lol
