Fox fur scarf & sweater/jeans AND dress room fitting for Theory lamb vest

I had a lot of fun today: first time toured Boston downtown, had a hair cut, shopped and ate lobster. Now I am writing this blog, drinking wine and eating cheesecake (I won't be surprised if I put on several pounds).

It was sunny today, but still as cold as 30F. My fox fur scarf (wore here with a sweater dress) saved me in such a chilling day, especially we did not drive in Boston downtown area (for good reasons). Wearing the fox fur scarf with a sweater and a pair of jeans gives a casual look. (I did wear a down coat today, :) ).

I tested the comfortable level of my new buy, Chie Mihara petal-detail bootie, today by walking in the city for almost 6 hours. It did not disappoint me! I am very happy with this purchase. The light grey color is also pretty versatile.

I have been planing a hair cut for a while; however, it is not that easy to find a good hair solon in Cleveland unless you want to drive more than 2 hours. Personally, I prefer asian hair salon. I visited DEFI Japanese hair salon on Newbury st., and the experience was wonderful! My hairdresser cut about 5 inches off, and trimmed my band. I will definitely visit again, perming my hair. Their price is reasonable too. The only downside is that you need to be patient to explain your desired style to your hairdresser (some of them doesn't speak fluent English).

Before I finish this post, I want to share a fitting room picture with all of you. I am thinking to buy this lamb vest when it gets another price cut. It is from Theory (a similar one here), and on sale at $847 now. I will keep my eyes on this vest.

  1. Hi dear!
It might be the coldest in our North East area these days and you caught them all. Give you a little head up how the winter would be in Boston. :-)

Love all the pictures you took in the recent posts. You look so sweet in this white lamb vest. The only concern is, lamb wool might not be water-proof, not that easy to maintain like fox fur or mink in snowy winter days.

    Happy V-day!
