I can't wait to share my new buy here: a new Opening Ceremony Black Pixel Plaid Flare Coat.
I stopped by Saks Fifth Avenue today, because of their extra 25% off (sale items). My local Saks carries very selective brands, compared to the one on the 5th Avenue, NYC :(
This coat caught my eyes immediately, as well as my mom's, when we got to the comtempary department. It is size small, but it fits very well on me. Opening Ceremony definitely runs small!!!! The sleeves and shoulders are tight on me, which balances the flare body part. This coat features with the rolled cuffs and exposed buttons (all the way through the collar). The downside is the texture, not pure wool.
It is on sale in Saks now, and has extra 25% off. The price went down to $340. (Check the item number from the stick, if you want to order/use locator service from Saks.)
Again, this coat runs small! Especially the shoulder and armpits, very tight on me as size small (I wear xs all the time!). The pictures on the websits are misleading. In addition, the color is not as bright as it on the following websites. So it is not that Christmas :)
There are two web stores carrying this coat (for some reason, both of them show the original price as $816. Mine was $758. But they do look same to me):
