Denver :: Mile High City
After a fabulous trip to Denver, it feels sweet to be home again. Hope everyone has had a wonderful start of this prosperous new year of Dragon! For nearly a week filled with deep blue skies and sunshine in the Mile High city, it was blissful.
Most of the time, I was hanging around in DTC (Denver Tech Center) area. Enjoyed this breathtaking panoramic view of snowy mountains. Took a few snaps on the way between office and lunch place.
Headed to Denver downtown on Wednesday night with my lovely friends/coworkers. Venturing through a city is always fun. Took a free bus ride along Pedestrian Mall. Festival lights were still on. Stepped into a Peruvian food restaurant for dinner.The food is in good quality and the taste is even a little bit close to Chinese cuisine.
Sipped a handcrafted beer at the Wynkoop Brewing Company http://wynkoop.com/, Denver's first brewpub opened by former Denver Mayor, now Colorado Governor. Love playing billiards games? You’ve got the right place (just like me)! Wynkoof is located at LoDo Historic District in lower downtown, well-known for the birth place of Denver and its warehouse look. www.lodo.org
