Happy Sunday! This time of year, I really think the best time (though super short) in the northeast. Sweater / jacket & shorts with ankle boots, leather skirt with bare legs, mini skirt with over-the-knee boots... you could style in all kind of ways you like, as those lucky ladies who live in CA.

One thing has been on my shop-list since last winter is a mid-length down coat, fit and warm! I tried two Moncler coats today, and here are some fitting room pictures. Price is pretty steep, and no good promotion now. Buy or wait?

Price: $2065, tripe points now (about $150 gift card)

Fit: Size 0 perfectly fits me (true to size, I normally wear size 0/xs).

Con: Most of Moncler mid-length coats are just above $1000, unless they have a fur trim. The coyote fur trim definitely contributes to the price, but is not the thing I care.

Moncler Anorak / parka down coat, here and here

Price: $1295, tripe points now (about $100 gift card)

Fit: Size 0 is slightly roomy for me, especially the shoulder.

Con: not as flattering as the parka one. I may need to wear a chunky sweater underneath otherwise the shoulder doesn't fit very well.
